Stillness is Action

“Activity conquers cold, but stillness conquers heat.” ~ Lao Tzu

… Stay still for a minute, and breathe. You close your eyes, and find a stillness within yourself. This stillness spreads to the rest of your body, and to your mind. It calms you, centers you, focuses you on what you’re doing right now, not on all you have to do and all that has happened.

The stillness becomes a transformative action.

Stillness is an action that I am practicing everyday.  For the past 3 weeks or so, I have been meditating regularly for about 20 minutes each and every day. Some days, I meditate twice (mornings and afternoons/evenings).  I can already feel and sense the changes in my own thoughts.  I notice things more.  All from this simple practice of stillness.
